Mobile Station: Standards, Durability, Safety
Aerial service stations are governed by two sets of regulations: decree No. 2017-594 of 21 April 2017 and ICPE regulations (classified installations for environmental protection).
Any industrial or agricultural operation likely to create risks or cause pollution or nuisance, particularly for the health and safety of local residents, is a classified facility.
There are three levels of classification based on the threshold indicated in the nomenclature, depending on the level of risk or inconvenience that may be caused:
Declaration, Registration and Authorisation
Mobile Station
DECLARATION : for the least polluting and least dangerous activities. A simple declaration to the prefecture is required
REGISTRATION : designed as a simplified authorisation for sectors for which the technical measures to prevent inconvenience are well known and standardised. This system was introduced by Order no. 2009-663 of 11 June 2009 and implemented by a series of provisions published in the Official Journal of 14 April 2010.
AUTHORISATION : for facilities presenting the greatest risks or pollution. The operator must apply for authorisation before commissioning, demonstrating that the risk is acceptable. The Prefect may authorise or refuse operation.
