Over the last five decades, CDE has gradually established itself as the European leader in the production of industrial storage.

1966 - The start of a wonderful adventureEtablissements Georges Legros, the company of the same name, was created and set up in Saints-Geosmes (52). At the time, it consisted of a construction line for cylindrical tanks for storing petroleum products. The first industrial storage production was born.

1971 - Birth of CDEEtablissements Georges Legros evolved into a limited company, becoming Chaudronnerie DeEast. This was followed by the creation of a second workshop, in 1974, dedicated to the manufacture of customised boilerwork.

1990 - Development of industrial chimneysIn the 1990s, CDE improved its industrial facilities and increased its production capacity. The company was now able to manufacture industrial chimneys, thanks to its numerically-controlled machines and the computerisation of its services.

1996 - France's No. 1 manufacturerCDE's growing expertise and quality enabled it to achieve its first major success, becoming France's leading manufacturer of cylindrical petroleum tanks.

2004 - Quality first and foremostSince 2000, CDE has been committed to quality in industrial storage production. After obtaining NF EN ISO 9002 certification for its quality system in 1997, the company obtained ISO 9001:2000 certification in 2004 and ISO 9001:2008 certification in 2009.

2015 - Continuity and modernityBee-Up Capital (https://www.beeupcapital.com/) is acquiring Chaudronnerie De l'Est, with the aim of industrialising its equipment and meeting customer requirements as effectively as possible.

2020 - Development of the biofuels marketCDE has become a key player in the biofuel tank market and is expanding its facilities to meet the needs of a fast-growing market.

2022 - Modernising our production linesCDE is modernising its production lines with the installation of a welding robot, making its flows more reliable and enhancing the quality of its equipment.
