CDE, Adblue® Tank Designer
ALCE CDE is a renowned designer and manufacturer of storage solutions, including Adblue® tanks. These tanks are specially designed for the storage of technical urea, a liquid used in diesel vehicles to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions.
The construction of these tanks requires specific technical expertise, whether underground or above ground. They have to be manufactured from resistant materials and with a coating adapted to the corrosive properties of technical urea, while ensuring optimum tightness and durability. In this context, ALCE CDE mainly uses carbon steel and stainless steel for the manufacture of their Adblue® tanks.
Depending on design requirements, our tanks are built around a single- or double-walled cylindrical steel tank. They are produced with domed bottoms.
We can also offer tank partitioning, with the option of creating a number of compartments. Adblue® tanks can range in capacity from 1000 liters to 5000 liters, or even more for custom-built Adblue® tanks.
ALCE CDE’s Adblue® storage tanks come with a range of accessories and options to meet the specific needs of each customer. For example, they can be fitted with electronic gauges to monitor the liquid level in the tank, pumps, drip trays to prevent accidental spills, fill limiters and chassis for easy transport and installation.
ADBlue® tank: Standards, Durability, Safety
The company makes it a point of honor to comply with the standards in force for the manufacture of its tanks. This includes not only standards relating to the safety and quality of the tanks, but also those relating to the environmental impact of their production. Indeed, ALCE CDE is committed to using recyclable steel in the manufacture of its tanks, thus contributing to its ecological commitment.
In terms of installation and maintenance, ALCE CDE offers ready-to-use tanks, with smooth interiors for easy cleaning and maintenance. The company also places great emphasis on product safety, ensuring that its tanks are fitted with appropriate safety devices.

Notre FAQ
What is AdBlue®
AdBlue® is an aqueous solution composed of 32.5% high-purity urea and 67.5% demineralized water. It is used in diesel vehicles equipped with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) technology to reduce emissions of nitrogen oxides, a major atmospheric pollutant.
What are the advantages of AdBlue®
AdBlue® offers several advantages. Firstly, it significantly reduces nitrogen oxide emissions, helping to protect the environment. Secondly, it can improve vehicle fuel efficiency, which can translate into long-term savings. Finally, the use of AdBlue® is mandatory to meet Euro 6 emissions standards for diesel vehicles, which means that using this solution can help avoid regulatory penalties.
How long can AdBlue® be stored
AdBlue® can be stored for at least 12 months under suitable conditions. It should be stored in a well-ventilated area, out of direct sunlight and within a temperature range of 0°C to 25°C.
Note that AdBlue® can degrade if storage conditions are not respected, which can reduce its effectiveness.
